Is the wording a promise to pay if someone does the act, or just an invitation to negotiate or bid?
What exact act does the offer require, and is acceptance meant to happen by doing that act?
Has the offeree merely considered the offer, or have they actually started the required performance?
Did the offeror try to withdraw after performance had started, and if so, was that withdrawal likely ineffective?
If the offeree completes the act, what contractual benefit or reward becomes due, and who bears the risk if the offeror changes their mind?
A company advertises a reward for finding a lost item, and a claimant starts searching, then the company tries to withdraw the reward before the item is found. Talk through whether there is a unilateral offer, how acceptance works, whether revocation is effective once searching has begun, and what the claimant can argue if they later complete the requested act.
